Yes. The process involves an application review, a personal interview, and a brief presentation on a designated topic to assess alignment and commitment.
What happens after someone gets selected as a YANC member?
Selected members receive an official welcome kit, complete onboarding orientation, are paired with a peer buddy, and join an active cohort for networking and development.
Is there a fee to join YANC? What does it cover?
Yes, a membership fee covers bi-weekly structured meetups, food and beverages, curated learning resources, mentor access, and community initiatives. Full financial details are explained during the Discover Meet.
Can parents enroll their children directly?
No. Youth members must apply and go through the selection process themselves to ensure personal motivation and commitment.
Can members join from any city?
Currently, YANC is based and operates in Hyderabad. Expansion into other major cities is underway.
If someone is not selected, can they reapply later?
Yes, candidates are encouraged to reapply in subsequent cohort cycles after a designated period.
When is the payment due after selection?
Once selected, you will receive an official payment link. The fee must be completed within one week to reserve and confirm your cohort seat.
What is the cost of YANC membership?
We offer three flexible payment options for YANC membership. Applicable taxes are extra. 1. 6-Month Membership: ₹3,500/month — Pay for 5 months and get the 6th month free. 2. Quarterly Membership: ₹3,690/month — Pay the full 3-month amount in advance. 3. Monthly Membership:₹4,690/month — Pay monthly. The total payable amount will depend on the membership option selected, along with applicable taxes.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major payment methods including UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and verified digital wallets.
Are there any refunds if someone decides to discontinue?
Membership fees are non-refundable. In rare, exceptional circumstances, deferral to the subsequent cohort may be considered.
Does the membership fee cover all YANC events and programs?
The core fee covers scheduled bi-weekly meetups, mentor sessions, resources, and regular networking events. Optional off-sites may involve separate registration fees.
What is the objective of the Young Minds Mashup funding process?
To establish a transparent pathway for evaluating, funding, and incubating early prototype projects through the YANC Prototype Fund, with hands-on guidance for innovators aged 15–28 moving from idea to prototype.
